Maumee Valley Presbytery is the body of Christ, Presbyterian (U.S.A.), in northwestern Ohio and southeastern Michigan.  Our vision statement is:

●CAMP  (Crestline Assistance and Ministries Program)   -   $2,600

Food pantry

●Congregational Nurse Project   -  $3,000

The Congregational Nurse Project of NW Ohio was formed to support the development of health ministries in our region.  The CNP is a multi-faith collaborative program, which promotes the health and well being of faith communities by providing information and education about and for parish nurses throughout Northwest Ohio.

●Cooperative Christian Services of Galion  -   $3,500

Cooperative Christian Services of Galion was founded in 1998.  The idea was to centralize, in one office, a place that area residents seeking assistance could come to find help, without contacting every church for funds available.

●Family Crisis Network  -   $4,000

Family Crisis Network is a nonprofit agency that serves victims of domestic violence.  It is our mission to eliminate domestic violence in Mercer County through education and intervention: to provide services, shelter, and assistance to those victims leaving abusive relationships.  During the past year we spoke at 12 community engagements in an effort to educate the citizens of our county that domestic violence does happen in Mercer County.  Information was given on the services available within the county to assist those who want out of such relationships.

●Grampy’s House  -   $2,000

Grampy’s House is a program that began in 2002 in the Lima/Allen County, Ohio area to serve the previously unmet need of children who are affected by divorce or the separation of their parents.  The program provides a visitation/exchange center where children can visit with non-custodial parents in a neutral, comfortable and safe setting and where visit exchanges between parents can occur without conflict and confrontation.

●Hancock County Christian Clearing House  -  $1,000

HCCH is a non-profit organization with a purpose “to provide financial emergency (non-sustaining) assistance to individuals who have physical, emotional needs and to coordinate such emergency services on behalf of our member churches, agencies and individuals in such a way as to avoid duplication and promote effective use of our resources.”

●Hope House/Findlay, Ohio  -  $3,500

Hope House is a transitional and residential program offering a nurturing environment for homeless women and women with children promoting independent living, improved personal development and interpersonal skills, and assisting low-income individuals with their search for affordable housing.

●Interfaith Hospitality Network  -   $6,200

Interfaith Hospitality Network of Metro Toledo provides families who are homeless with safe, secure shelter through a network of congregations in the Toledo metropolitan area.  Each host congregation shelters families overnight for one week at a time on a rotating schedule.  The goal is to provide a caring response to the families who are homeless through compassionate assistance in shelter and meals.

●Lenawee Dental Clinic  -   $5,000

A dental clinic in Adrian, Michigan

●Moving Towards a Hunger-free West Central Ohio
  West Ohio Food Bank  -    $6,000

The West Ohio Food Bank provided over 2,039,585 meals through a network of over 140+ smaller member charities directly feeding 54,000 people each month throughout 11 counties.  Our service area includes Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Seneca, Shelby, Van Wert, and Wyandot counties.

●Our Daily Bread   -   $5,000

Our Daily Bread hot food site’s purpose is to provide at least one hot meal per day, Monday through Friday, to any person who comes to our location.  We also connect our guests to other social service agencies that might provide other services.

●Shelby Help Line   -   $2,500

Shelby Help Line Ministries began serving individuals and families in March of 1978.  Over the years, we have added services to meet the needs of the surrounding community.  Some of the services are:  financial aid; information and referral; community Christmas program; school clothes exchange; clothing ministry, and much more.

Toledo Area Ministries (TAM) -   $3,000

The purpose of the Toledo Area Ministries (TAM) is to assist congregations and church leadership in meeting human need, creating community and working for justice.

●Toledo Campus Ministry  -   $13,000

Toledo Campus Ministry is an Ecumenical Christian Campus Ministry located on the campus of the University of Toledo.  Its goals are to create a multicultural sensitive and accepting Christian community that encourages students, faculty, and staff to grow in their spiritual understandings and develop a sense of Christian vocation regardless of what career path one is following.

●Willard - After School Program -   $1,900

The goals of this project are to assist students with their homework, to enrich their education in science, math, English, and the arts.  Planned activities each session to enrich their background, and outreach activities into the community by service projects.
