Creating A Culture of Collaboration Workshop

WHAT:

  • Four workshops revolving around the theme of “Creating a Culture of Collaboration”
    • Listen to and participate in discussions about building an inclusive community of faithful folks to encourage faith, hope, love and witness
    • Topics include collaborating with church leaders, individuals, your neighbors and community, and the Holy Spirit
  • Meaningful Worship times, including communion together on Thursday
  • Sabbath rest time on Wednesday afternoon
    • some options include an outdoor labyrinth, indoor and outdoor stations of the cross, self-guided tours of the campus, sitting near the lake, and walking paths; or a nap, reading, your own project —  the time is yours!
  • Resource Sharing & Networking Opportunities with new and familiar colleagues


GUEST SPEAKERS: Rev. Tom Brown and Rev. Jennifer Burns Lewis

  • Rev. Tom Brown serves as the pastor/head of staff for the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary with an M.Div., and also holds and M.A. in Youth Ministry from Princeton’s Youth Ministry Institute.
  • Rev. Jennifer Burns Lewis is a New York state native and graduate of Boston College, where she majored in philosophy. She and her husband, Dan, both graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with M.Div. degrees. Jennifer, a trained coach, has served as the Visioning and Connecting Leader for the Presbytery of Wabash Valley in Indiana for ten years.
