Julie A. (Crandall) Fogle, age 66, died Monday, April 13, 2026 at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. Julie was one of Maumee Valley Presbytery’s first Commissioned Ruling Elders (licensed minister) serving as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in McComb, Ohio from January 2018 until her retirement in January of 2026, and previously as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Galion for many years, as well as Napoleon. She served the presbytery as a lay pastor for over 17 years, and also served on our Branch of Congregational Life from 2014-2017. Trained at Bluffton University in education and receiving a master’s of theology degree from the University of Dubuque, she was commissioned by Maumee Valley Presbytery in April of 2008.
She is survived by her husband Craig of Kenton, Ohio, two daughters and one son: Rachel (T.J. Reaster) Fogle of Clayton, Rebecca Fogle of Kenton, and Neal Fogle of Ada, and one grandchild, Lilliana Fogle.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
