Part-Time Pastor

Small, well-maintained neighborhood church with a wheelchair lift and a weekly attendance of 15 to 20 congregants, is seeking a part-time pastor. This person could be a retired minister looking for a part-time position, one who would consider being part of a yoked congregation, a chaplain, a commissioned ruling elder or a seminary student.
Responsibilities include preaching each Sunday, serving Communion monthly, pastoral care when needed, moderating Session and other duties as agreed upon. This would entail roughly 10 hours a week.

- Meet regularly with the Elders to facilitate the work of the church and perform other pastoral duties according to the Book of Order
Proficiencies:

- Engage young individuals and families
- Connect effectively with younger generations
Qualifications:
- Passionately embody God’s Word and live out the gospel in daily life
- Fully understand and support the doctrine of First Presbyterian Church
- Ordained minister, commissioned lay pastor, or equivalent education
