Annual Statistical Reports

Every year Clerks of Session provide an essential function for the MVP office and for our denomination as a whole to function at an optimal level – the sharing of info.

If you are a Clerk of Session within MVP looking for guidance, this is the place .  In a previous mailing from the MVP office you should have received your individual church’s User I.D. and Password.  Included in that packet is a Treasurer Packet as well, which includes the Mission Pledge Form and a Per Capita Statement.  You as clerk may process these forms as well, depending on the church.  If you did not receive this packet in the mail, please contact Belinda or Matt at the MVP Office.

 

 

Presbytery Annual Reports

AR reports are due to the presbytery office, January 31, 2025.

Forms to be completed for presbytery commissioners, lay leadership, necrology and session members.  You may view or download  presbytery report forms below. Download each form (AR-1 through AR-3), complete, and forward to the presbytery office at belinda@maumeevp.org or mail hard copies to the presbytery office.

General Assembly Statistical Reports 

SR’s are due to the G.A. on February 15, 2025.  (The form will be available for on-line entry beginning on January 5, 2025 (not Monday December 2, 2024 as previously reported)

 

The GA forms are available for on-line entry at https://pcusa.org/resources/statistics-lists/statistical-reporting-faq . The User I.D. and Password for your church was previously sent to each clerk in early December). Instructions for GA Statistical Reports.

Dean McGormley’s Per Capita letter for 2024-2025 is available.  Call the MVP office.

 

 

Session Record Review

Each year in March or April, clerks gather to review one another’s minutes.  The review for 2024 records will occur in late March 2025.  Like previous years, there were a couple virtual options on Zoom. There was also one in-person option.

Greetings Fellow Clerks of Session,
Here are the pertinent details for the 2025 Review:
As in years past, please find a Clerk at a Church near you and make arrangements
to review each other’s books. Please use the same form you used last
year. After you have done this, please send me your results via email at:
wiesmannlance@gmail.com. When you send your results, all you need to send
me is the following:
Your name & Church
The name of the Clerk who read your books & their Church.
Whether or not there were any exceptions.
I do not need to see pictures of your review sheets (or your books). I trust you all
to do the GREAT work you already do. I just need the information listed above.
If you wish to have your books reviewed in person, we will have ONE meeting
on Thursday, 27th March 2025 at 6:00PM. We will be meeting at the First
Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, Ohio. You can find the address in the
MVP Directory on the website.
If you are a NEW Clerk (or you have any questions about the process), we will be
having ONE online zoom call on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at 1:00PM. This call
shouldn’t last more than one hour at most. The zoom link will be sent out at a
later date.
